Our Programs

Our program is structured in three segments: school year (during the day and/or after school) and summer programming. Children can enter the program beginning at age 5 and remain in the program through high school graduation. Our ability to serve children on a long-term basis depends on funding, as all of our programs are free.

Alumni 16+  are encouraged to join our team as a program facilitator - providing the program in sites throughout Pittsburgh, co-creating the curriculum topics for each site, and  learning workforce development skills. We also invite two alumni to serve on the IFC advisory board.

Through this model youth grow and develop into healthy,  productive adults who will serve as our city's next generation of leaders.
